The iPhone is a great device. It plays music, videos, downloads your email, surfs the Interwebs and even makes calls!
Now, the iPhone can also scan barcodes and give you cool Mac tips* as well!
Decode the image below for a cool surprise
You will need:
- an iPhone with software version 2.0 or higher
- the Barcode application (available here - FREE)
- 5 minutes (you’ll get this back once you figure out the tip)

For those without an iPhone, the decoded tip will be revealed next week!

I am installing 9 AirPort Expresses in a large house today to provide wireless access throughout. They were configured en masse yesterday via one master configuration file.
All of the wireless access points will be connected by ethernet to the network in bridge mode, with the same SSID (wireless network name) and password so that clients (laptops and iPhones) will automatically connect to whichever they have the strongest connection to once they provided authentication details for one of them.

If your MagSafe power adpater is starting to look a little worse for wear (separation of the white insulation on the magnetic end of the MagSafe adapter, cable discolouration and deformed rubber molding), then you’re in luck! Apple have announced that they will be replacing (for free) MacBook and MacBook Pro MagSafe power adapters – both in and out of warranty – after an evaluation.
Simply take your power adapter to your nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorised service provider.
